Music is really important
to my husband and his family. So a band was an obvious choice for us. I
don't know enough words to describe how truly wonderful this group is. They
made our wedding so special and set such an elegant and yet hip tone. They were
totally unobtrusive yet they were able to sense the mood and change to match
the flow or requests. Jamie Tobitt is the trumpet player and band leader. He
is very easy to work with and communicates well (and returned my calls and
emails promptly in great detail). He isn't cheesy (I really didn't want a
game-show-host emcee for the reception) and he has a great voice. Using my
suggestions and input, he made a schedule for the reception that was VERY
helpful and relieved a lot of last week stress. I was bouncing to the beat
all afternoon. The kids loved dancing to the music and many of our older
guests appreciated having familiar music to dance to. The floor was generally
busy. The hit of the evening was our anniversary dance - the floor was packed
until the 40-year mark. Amazing. I hope I have more occasions to hire this
fabulous group.

our choice. I am ever grateful for all of your suggestions and help with

They really made the wedding special. My dad is a huge jazz buff so I knew from
the beginning I wanted a jazz/big band. The Quorum are great performers and the
leader Jamie is so great to work with. I can't even describe how sweet he is.
He wrote me an email after the wedding thanking me for letting his band play at
my wedding (I should be thanking him!) He's also a very good emcee, although he's
modest about it. Having a jazz band set a very cool tone for the wedding. And
it meant a lot that some of our favorite songs could be played live (our first
dance was The Way You Look Tonight and I danced with my dad to Our Love is Here
to Stay). As long as I live I know the music and the band will be one of my most
vivid and favorite memories of the wedding.

most importantly, as the event energy changed, you changed to balance it beautifully.
You were set up on time without issue, in fact I turned around and there were
